About WeSeeMatsu
For travelers coming to Matsu, and for the people who live on the islands: we bring scattered Matsu information together in one place, so that one look tells you whether flights are operating today, whether the ferries are sailing, what there is to see, and where to find what you need.
What we do
- Today: a takeoff-and-landing assessment for getting in and out of Matsu, island conditions, the next flights and ferries, and events today and over the next three days.
- Transport: flight and ferry schedules, the Ferry Booking Helper, the Parking Helper, and live flight and ship positions.
- News: news about Matsu, gathered on one page.
- Explore Matsu: a 3D map of attractions, trip planning, Blue Tears, Matsu Moments, and accessibility information.
- Local Life: the Island Directory (businesses and phone numbers), the Bulletin Board, the Calendar, and Matsu Data.
- Families: changing tables, nursing rooms, and the Parent-Child Center.
- Culture: land and nature, villages, livelihoods, seasons and rites, everyday life, language, people, history, beliefs and festivals, the wildlife guide and old objects, Step into History games, religions in Matsu, and Islanders Write (articles written by people who live on the islands).
Principles we follow
- Every piece of data can say where it came from: we state the source, how often it is updated, and whether it was collected automatically or reviewed by a person, and we link back to the original web page wherever possible.
- If we don't have it, we show "—": when data cannot be obtained, we do not substitute simulated values or values from a neighboring island, and we explain why it is unavailable.
- An estimate is labeled as an estimate: the takeoff-and-landing assessment, Blue Tears probability, and fog forecast are all reference values that this site calculates from public data. This is stated clearly on screen, and official announcements prevail.
- Respect for sources: where a website clearly does not permit access or blocks crawlers, we do not circumvent it. We do not scrape Facebook, Instagram, or Google reviews.
- Advertising is always labeled: every paid placement is marked "Ad".

WeSeeMatsu is an unofficial local information website. It is not affiliated with any government agency, airline, or ferry operator. For official information, please refer to the websites and announcements of the relevant authorities.
